All meetings must have the minutes published within 1 month of the meeting. The minutes are then reviewed and approved at the next regular meeting. Any amendments can be made at that time and, if agreed, the minutes will be amended at the meeting and the amendment initialled.
The minutes of the meeting are a report of the items discussed and decisions made. It is not a verbal documentary and does not necessarily report all conversations, merely the pertinant points.
Votes are taken to RESOLVE items - to make a decision. A vote has to be proposed and then seconded. Recording of the vote is either unanimous or majority. No indication is given as to who voted what unless a councillor requests it to be documented.
